National Eye Care Month

sg1121

January is National Eye Care Month! Consider using this month to educate your patients and staff about the importance of proper eye protection.  Point out that once good vision is lost, it can not be easily regained. This type of education will benefit everyone in the end.

Be sure to have several types of comfortable eye protection available that you can offer your patients. Keep in mind that offering choices allows your patient to pick out something that works for their unique situations. This can help keep your patients safe and increase retail purchasing.

Here are a the top categories that contribute to eye injuries at work (provided by Prevent Blindness America).

Product Categories Est. Injuries per Year
